I totally forgot about this film I shot on 16mm film six years ago. It was my first short at NYU. It could only be 4 minutes long and have no dialogue.
Yes, I cringe a little at my terrible sound work, out of focus shots, and other dumb things. It's clear I've grown a lot as a filmmaker since then. But I watch it with a certain fondness. It still affects me emotionally and that's all that's important. Also it brings back great memories of all the people who helped me make an ambitious little movie in a big scary place I was new to at the time. And of course it reminds me of my beloved Porkchop who inspired it and thankfully is still alive today. I would do all of this for him in a heartbeat. Enjoy!
